Es el m\u00e1s joven de la familia y naci\u00f3 con s\u00edndrome de Down. Concretamente, el par de cromosomas n\u00famero 21 sufri\u00f3 una alteraci\u00f3n y dej\u00f3 de ser parejo. A partir de ese entonces, las diferencias ser\u00e1n por y en base a desconocimiento y prejuicios.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">El s\u00edndrome de Down es la principal causa de discapacidad intelectual y la alteraci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica humana m\u00e1s frecuente. En el mundo, se estima que hay un total de seis millones de personas con esta discapacidad. Los c\u00e1lculos indican que entre el 30% y el 40% de las personas con discapacidad intelectual tienen S\u00edndrome de Down. No es una enfermedad y no hay grados asociados al s\u00edndrome, pero el efecto que produce la presencia de esta alteraci\u00f3n en cada persona es muy variable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">[La historia de Nacho es parte del proyecto colectivo \u00abDetr\u00e1s de una mirada\u00bb ]<\/span><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>Ignacio Ariel Begue is a ten-year-old Uruguayan boy (2012). He is the youngest in the family and was born with Down syndrome. Specifically, the pair of chromosomes number 21 suffered an alteration and stopped being equal. From that point on, the differences will be by and based on ignorance and prejudices.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>Down syndrome is the main cause of intellectual disability and the most frequent human genetic alteration. Worldwide, it is estimated that there are a total of six million people with this disability. Estimates indicate that between 30% and 40% of persons with intellectual disabilities have Down syndrome.
